The major driving force behind me making these sculptures is my frustration at the worlds problems and my feeling of inability to effect them in a positive way. I took these feelings and other pressures we all have in modern life, to making money, be happy, be healthy, family, relationships, body image etcetera and turn these pressures into something physical and beautiful. To use them in a positive way. Although it can be a struggle to deal with these elements, they are what drive us to achieve.
