Jolanta Grzybowska

Drawing and taking photographs in places where I walk and frequently return to, are the main sources of my work. I use the drawings and photographs to develop into intaglio prints, exploring the light and colour of the landscape through traditional printmaking techniques.
The inherently repetitive traditional etching and drypoint processes give me a chance to revisit these places and their associations.
I completed a BA in Illustration in Bristol and an MA in Printmaking at Chelsea School of Art. My prints have been shown in the RWAr Wells Art Contemporary and Bath Society of Artists Open exhibitions, and in Bankside Gallery London exhibitions, amongst others.
