I hold a BA from Bath Academy of Art and an MA in Fne Art from the Unversity of the West of England. I worked in publishing for many years and also administered arts projects whilst my children were young and, since 2008, I have been working from studios in Bristol and also teaching at the Royal West of England Academy Drawing School. I have been based at BV Studios snce they opened in 2010. My work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally, has won awards and is held in private collections.
