Sarah Duncan

Sarah Duncan.jpeg

Sarah Duncan is an award wining artist and printmaker. She is influenced by forms and light invisible to the naked eye. Sarah seeks beauty in the realms of science, astronomy, microscopy.  Optical technology allows us to glimpse the unseeable, her work reflects on these technological revelations, and try to grasp what would be unknowable without them.

Scientific studies are currently focusing less on the possibility and more on the certainty and speed with which climate change is taking place. Sarah's practice is not obviously engaged with worldly issues, working directly to transform the global scale of climate change into a human narrative.

Sarah exhibits her work regularly around the UK in independent and group exhibitions, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, London Original Print Fair, John Ruskin Prize and the RWA Annual Open. Sarah has recently completed her MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking.
